St. Louis startup that makes migraine management app to be acquired

July 02–Welltodo, a St. Louis-based startup company that has developed a mobile app that helps consumers manage their migraines, has agreed to be acquired by SensorRX, Inc.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. SensorRX, based in Charlotte, is a provider of patient generated health data. The company has developed a similar mobile app called MigrnX, which tracks migraines and integrates that data with electronic health record vendor systems to improve patient care.

Migraine Coach users will be integrated into the MigrnX platform.

Welltodo was a member of St. Louis-based entrepreneurial support organization ITEN. It also received initial seed funding from Kansas City’s Digital Sandbox.

“SensorRX’s partnerships with healthcare systems, resources and talented leadership will move us toward our ultimate goal of leveraging data and technology to reduce the burden that chronic disease places on individuals’ lives and on business’ bottom line,” said Welltodo co-founder and CEO Chris Cardinal.
