Seesaw Day Has the Markets Looking For Direction

The US equities markets were choppy today with relatively low volume of trading. The economic numbers released this morning all came in better than expected, but this seemed to have little impact on the markets as traders continued to focus on developments in the current trade disputes between the United States and our major trade partners. The VIX slumped to 12.67, again putting it at extremely low levels that we haven’t seen since last year. Here’s what to expect.
