New company takes small business services on the road

WOOSTER — Teresa Pagniano knows how difficult it is to manage a small business.

Paperwork piles up, temporary help can be hard to find and time is short when small business owners have to manage payroll, bookkeeping, human resources and operations.

So for her own new company, Pagniano is bringing those services directly to businesses.

Pagniano’s Bookkeeping on Wheels, which officially launched May 1, offers “basically everything a bookkeeper would do,” Pagniano said. Plus, she comes directly to clients. Similar companies exist in other parts of the state, she said, but her new company, which she started with her husband Rick, is the only one of its kind in the area.

Teresa Pagniano said she developed the idea for the new company through years of working in various small businesses, including Learn N Play of Wooster, where she worked between 2013 and 2016.

“I know there’s a need for this,” she said. “I was a director of a preschool and I had 20 employees. And at the time I was director and bookkeeper and payroll person and everything. And being the only one in the office knowing all of that, I was working 60, 70 hours a week. So I know there’s a need for this, and I think it’s a good idea.”

So far, Pagniano said the company has a few clients, but she hopes to add more, and hire some of her own employees. She said her company can help small businesses with payroll and payroll taxes, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, general journal entries and more, including work on programs such as Quickbooks and Sage 50.

Pagniano said anyone interested in hiring her company should contact her at 330-465-9062 or on her website at pagnianosbkonwheels.com.
